Love Your Neighbors

I want you to love your neighbors not just with words or fleeting kindness, but selflessly as I have loved you. This means putting others before yourself, seeing in every face the image of God and offering help without expecting anything in return. Remember that I said: "Love your neighbor as yourself". Flowing from your love for God it calls you to action in the everyday moments, sharing your bread with the hungry, forgiving those who wrong you and lifting up the weary.

When I walked among you, I washed the feet of My disciples to show that true love serves humbly. I want the same from you: to love as I love, without limits or conditions. Think of the parable I told of the Good Samaritan, who bandaged the wounds of a stranger, an enemy even, pouring out oil and wine and paying for his care. Who is your neighbor? Everyone, the friend, the foe, the forgotten. Do not turn away; instead, cross the road to them, for in loving them you love Me.

Let My words in the Gospel guide you: "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another". This selfless love is the mark of My followers, drawing the world to know Me through your deeds. I desire for you to live this out daily, in small acts that echo eternity, a gentle word to the hurting, a hand extended to the lost. And know this: as you pour out love, My Father will fill you anew, for "God is love and whoever abides in love abides in God". Trust in Me and let your heart be My dwelling place, overflowing with mercy and charity.
